PURPOSE:

Sancta Maria School endeavors to live out the command of Christ to:

“Let the little children come to me; do not stop them, for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.” (Mark 10:14).

This school offers the family a unique gift by educating and nurturing the entire person during his/her most delicate and impressionable age. The dignity of each individual is recognized and elevated by offering an education in the Catholic tradition that enhances one’s understanding of being made in the image and likeness of God.

“It would be weird to go to a school where you didn’t learn about Jesus. Because if you learned about the trees, how would you know who made them?”
— Gabriella, age 6

MISSION:
Sancta Maria Montessori School offers an education to children ages 3-18 in a prepared environment to help each person reach his/her fullest potential.

In support of this mission, we:

  • Provide an education for children which will help them to know, love and serve God.

  • Implement the Montessori Method of education whenever possible.

  • Nurture the child’s relationship with God through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.

  • Provide for the temporal and spiritual needs of our school community.

  • Serve families by complementing parents as primary educators of their children.

  • Uphold Christian values.

  • Foster a community of Life.

At Sancta Maria, we:

PROVIDE MONTESSORI EDUCATION

The educational approach of Maria Montessori facilitates growth of the whole person – intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and physically. A prepared environment allows children to become the persons God has called them to be.

partner WITH FAMILIES

Parents play a key role in the development of their children at Sancta Maria. Working with two fully trained Montessori lead instructors and multiple assistants, parents receive support in their parenting journey. The Sancta Maria family is a great Catholic community.

Pass on the traditions of the catholic faith

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd forms the heart of Sancta Maria School. The Atrium is part of the classroom where children fall ever more deeply in love with God, discovering the wonders of God and the beauty of the Catholic faith. In addition, at Sancta Maria, Mass is celebrated once a month on Thursdays. Everyone is invited to attend Mass with our community.
